Juan J. Rodriguez, born in Miami,
was admitted to the Florida bar,
in 1986. He is admitted to the
general Bar, Trial Bar and Bankruptcy
Bar of the U.S District Court
of the Southern district of Florida.He
is also admitted to practise before
the Eleventh Circuit Court of
Appeals.
He attended the university of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with honors, in 1983. He attended the university of Florida College of Law where he earned his juris doctor in 1986. He also attended the university of Florida center for Latin American Studies and holds a Masters certificate. He was a member of the Florida International law Journal drom 1985 through 1986 ans served as its Editor-in-chief. Mr. Rodriguez served as a member of the Unlicenced Practice of Law Committee, Elenventh judicial District, for the Florida Bar drom 1994 through 1995. Mr. Rodriguez is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of French.
Biography
Mr. Rodriguez is a complex commercial
litigator with first chair trial
experience. Juan's practice is
focused on complex commercial
litigation, complex fraud litigation,
litigation of claims under Federal
and State RICO legislation, and
trademark litigation. In particular,
Mr. Rodriguez has developed a
significant international practice
over the last ten years involving
transnational litigation including
the coordination of parallel legal
proceedings in foreign countries.
Mr. Rodriguez has particular expertise
in provisional remedies, including
prejudgment writs of attachment
and garnishment, preliminary injunctive
relief and worldwide Mareva injunction
and seizure warrants in Common
Law jurisdictions around the world.
Mr. Rodriguez has also developed
considerable experience in international
commercial arbitrations.
Prior to co-founding CRGP, Mr.
Rodriguez was the founding partner
at Rodriguez & Machado in
Coral Gables, where he practiced
complex commercial fraud litigation
for ten years. Mr. Rodriguez was
also previously a partner at Richey,
Munroe, Rodriguez & Diaz,
in Miami where he practiced from
1988 through 1995 and his experience
included handling complex fraud
litigation and white-collar criminal
defense with substantial trial
experience.

since 2000.
